Who We Are
Preferred Health Mate has been in operation for over 17 years, providing quality care in the communities we serve. Preferred Health Mate has long-standing relationships with all hospitals and nursing homes in the region. Each year, Preferred Health Mate cares for several hundred clients and continues to grow due to our highly-skilled, carefully screened, compassionate nurses and Home Health Aides.
Joel Markel, President of Preferred Health Mate, has experienced the need for home health care personally. It was this experience that made him realize the importance of obtaining quality care at home. He set out to create an agency that would provide the highest degree of care and better service for those in need of home health care.
